In addition, he currently hosts a five-minute radio program, "The Writer's Almanac", and is a frequent contributor to Time Magazine. He has authored eleven books, including Lake Wobegon Days. He is the recipient of many awards, including a Grammy Award. In 1994, he was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame
